How do events like the DBT support the start-up community?

The German Biotech Days offer a unique platform for young companies in the biotech and life science sector to present their innovative ideas.

As part of the event, the finalists of the Innovation Award of the Working Group of German BioRegions will be presented — the central expert network of local biotechnology clusters in Germany. In 2026, the Innovation Award will be presented for the 19th time for outstanding research results in biotechnology and life sciences. In an interactive format, the six most innovative and promising concepts will be presented to the jury and the international expert audience.

This strengthens visibility, funding opportunities, and international cooperation for young biotech start-ups in a sustainable way.
